The Secret Formula in Business: Why There’s No One-Size-Fits-All Path to Success

The Secret Formula in Business: Why There’s No One-Size-Fits-All Path to Success

When I started my first business, a CCTV company, I honestly believed that there was a secret formula—a step-by-step guide—that would guarantee my success if I just followed it. I spent hours hanging out at National Bookstore, flipping through business books that I hoped would tell me exactly what to do. I joined every free business seminar I could find, especially those at the PTTC (Philippine Trade and Training Center) and Go Negosyo events over a decade ago, always searching for that bulletproof formula.

I was looking for a method that would make sure my business would never fail—a perfect system that, once executed, would ensure smooth and unstoppable success. But after attending countless seminars and reading dozens of books, I slowly came to realize something crucial: maybe there is no such formula.

Eventually, I stopped chasing the perfect plan and focused on the actual work in front of me. And that’s when things started to change.

After experiencing three consecutive business failures, I finally tasted success with my fourth venture—KARCO, which I built with close friends. That was when it truly hit me: I have my own unique path. No book or seminar ever predicted the exact journey I would take. No mentor or speaker could’ve mapped out the exact route I needed. While the lessons of others can help, they can never replace the need for your personal experience.

Just like you, kasosyo, you might be watching my vlogs or reading my first book, hoping to find a proven, step-by-step plan that will lead to certain success. I understand that. I've been there too.

That desire is also what many scammers exploit. They promise easy riches, foolproof systems, and guaranteed results. And when things don’t go as planned, people are left disappointed—not because they failed, but because they were made to believe that failure was impossible. That belief is the real trap.

The truth is, there is no universal formula. What I share in my vlogs and books is not a prescription for success. It’s a story. My story. I share it in the hope that something in it will spark a realization in your own mind—something you can use to shape your unique path.

I’m not here to tell you the “right way” to success. I’m here to inspire you to find your way. Because success doesn’t come from copying someone else’s formula. It comes from discovering your own.

I don’t recommend specific businesses either. What works for me may not work for you. My goal is to help you identify the right business for you—the one that won’t bury you in debt or stress, the one that aligns with your gifts and your journey.

God was kind to me. Even when I was lost and failing, He helped me find the path that truly fit me. And now, I’m full of joy and purpose because I finally see that path clearly.

That’s why I continue making these vlogs and writing these books. I want to help you, kasosyo, find your path too. I may not be giving you money directly, but if you discover your true path through what I share, I'm sure blessings and even financial breakthroughs will follow.

Success doesn’t come from formulas. It comes from doing. Because the more you execute, the clearer your path becomes—and the closer you get to the life you're meant to live.
